Maleia Renae, known to her family and friends as Maleia Renae Van Lent is a 15 year old singer/songwriter born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.( Born March 10, 2001) Maleia Renae first began taking vocal lessons and participated in a showstopper pop performance, in which she had 2 solo performances back in 2015. This is when she discovered that she loved to sing and perform on stage for an audience. Maleia Renae has always been shy as a child and would struggle with being able to talk to new people she met. In April of 2016, she joined a youth organization called Network for Young Artists, a non profit organization, that provided a platform for young artists to develop their confidence and be able to  perform in front of audiences at different events held by the city of San Antonio. After 6 months of performing with NYA she ventured off on her own and began taking professional vocal lessons with Black Box Music & Arts. Here is where she met her "musical soul mate", vocal coach Anthony. In 3 months time, he broke down the barriers that she was holding up since she began singing and helped her build her confidence level higher than ever before in order to amp up her performances and succeed in reaching her vocal ability. Vocal Coach Anthony describes Maleia's voice as very unique, soothing and soultry. This July, she was given an opportunity to attend a modeling and acting workshop held by EIS talent management group affiliated with Dynamic modeling and talent agency. After her 2nd workshop, she was being recorded doing a cold read acting script, and both the videographer and talent manager were impressed with her successful taping and presentation of modeling that she was signed on the spot with EIS.

Maleia Renae discovered she had one more talent to add to her list of singing, modeling & acting. She now discovered she had the talent of songwriting. Maleia began writing her very first single called Ghost Town with the help of producer Ryan "G Glef" Welch of San Antonio, TX in April of 2016. GhostTown was released online through music stores on July 8, 2016.  

Maleia continues to press forward with her singing, songwriting, modeling and acting career and one day hopes to perform all of her original songs to her fans at a sold out venue. Maleia's musical style can be described as contemporary pop and dance pop. She continues to perform around San Antonio singing covers by various artists, as well as her new single Ghost Town. Her musical style  has been influenced by performers such as  Rihanna, Halsey, Zara Larson, Alessia Cara, Daya & Hailee Steinfeld.
